Maurizio Farinelli
Maurizio Farinelli, an experienced, third-generation restaurateur born and raised in Torino, the gastronomic heartland of northern Italy, boasts an impressive track record of opening and operating successful, high-quality restaurants. Whether the concepts fine dining or casual, Maurizio truly has the “golden touch”.
From Trattoria Sole, Trattoria Luna, and Blu Pizzeria in South Miami to Coconut Grove’s Strada in the Grove, Farinelli 1937 Pizzeria & Cucina and more, Maurizio has always had a keen sense for what diners want, and the ability to deliver a winning concept that check’s all the boxes: desirable location, inviting ambience, excellent service and superb cuisine.
Maurizio is an honorary ambassador of the city of Asti (Piedmont) for promoting food and culture throughout the world and has served as secretary of the Italian Comites, an organization that, under the direction of Italy’s government, develops and promotes Italian culture across the globe.

Teaming up with Maurizio once again is the executive chef Patricia Mandis, who honed her talents for nearly three decades in the kitchen of her family’s ristorante in the town of San Luria on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia.
There, every meal reflects the island’s bounty, with straight-from-the-ocean seafood, handmade pastas, flavorful cheeses and the freshest fruits and vegetables.
Patricia has a passion for traditional Italian cuisine that is evident in the honesty of her cooking and the pure Italian spirit that infuses every dish, however she enjoys doing deep dives into various cultures and cuisines.
She strives to bring inspiration, integrity and innovation to every dish, using carefully sourced ingredients to create a mosaic of flavors.
